CTM now offers cosmetic teeth whitening! Using a whitening gel and our accelerator lamp, get your teeth up to 5-10 shades lighter on the first treatment. We recommend you bring headphones to your appointment – each whitening session consists of 3 x 20 minute blocks under an accelerator lamp.
Whats the difference between cosmetic and dental teeth whitening?
Cosmetic teeth whitening services can only be performed with whitening gels containing less than 6% hydrogen peroxide or alternative whitening agents. We use an accelerator lamp to increase the reaction time and speed of the whitening products, allowing you to leave your first treatment with a whiter smile. All of our staff members have been trained and fully certified to provide cosmetic whitening treatments.
How safe is it ?
During you whitening procedure at CTM, we use the utmost care in applying a gingival barrier gel, ensuring that the gum line and lips don’t come into contact with the lightening gel. The lightening gel is applied carefully onto the teeth only. Protecting your smile and oral health is our highest priority at CTM.
Are there any side effects?
Clients with already sensitive teeth are encouraged to use sensodyne or other similar desensitising care products, at least two weeks leading up to their appointment. Some clients may experience mild sensitivity 24-48 hours following their first treatment.
How many treatments can I have?
We perform our teeth whitening in 3 x 20 minute blocks. We offer triple or quadruple sessions, whereby the gel is left on your teeth and accelerated using the lamp, removed and repeat. If it is your first time getting your teeth whitened, we recommend you stick with a triple session to determine if cosmetic whitening is the right whitening solution for you.
